The WDD 2023 will be celebrated on the 14th & 15th of November, 2023 at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College, Puducherry, India.
The postgraduate students of General Medicine under the guidance of specialists will conduct a head-to-toe examination of each patient and screen for complications of Diabetes. The patients will be screened for neuropathy, nephropathy, retinopathy, and cardiac complications, and appropriate advice will be given. They will also get advice on healthy food practices and the importance of foot care. A video will be shown on the premises on various exercise programs for various age groups.
