On 11th November 2023, we organized a 10km Global Diabetes Walk event in Accra, Ghana with over 150 participants. After the walk, participants were given a free health screening for type 2 diabetes. Participants were also educated about the importance of understanding their risk for type 2 diabetes and knowing their response. There was a fair held during this event where participants were treated to sugar-free drinks. This event was covered heavily by 4 major news outlets in Ghana.

On 13th November, 2023, I was on TV discussing the risk factors and types of diabetes.
 
On 14th November, 2023, I launched 6 parts online educational series where I shared: what diabetes is, why the discussion is important because it has become a major public health concern, the complications of diabetes, who is at risk for developing type 2 diabetes, the symptoms of diabetes, and how one can prevent and/or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes. I shared it on all my social media platforms, and also paid a sponsored ad on social media to get it to more viewers.

All throughout the month of November, our organization donated several items to eleven diabetes clinics in two regions of Ghana. The items donated included glucometers, test strips, and natural stevia sweeteners to help in the management of type 2 diabetes.
