Service of school and adolescent medicine Institute of public health Brod-posavina county with partners: Department of gastroenterology, endocrinology end diabetology General hospital Dr. Josip Benčević, Town central pharmacy, Bauerfeind d.o.o, Service of health visitor Health centar Slavonski Brod, Association of children with diabetes typ 1 and their parents Brod sweets, Brod diabetes association, HIgh school of medicine: medical technicians and physiotherapist technicians, High school M.A. Reljković: nutrition techicians and agroturistic technicians. On the World Diabetes Day 14. November 2023. in local community center we were organized more activities for our citiziens: screning for type 2 diabetes ( blood glucose level, BMI, body waist, blood pressure questionnaire for risc of type 2 diabetes). Pupils physiotherapist techn. with teacher made leaflet with exercise examples for citizens and organized many excercise with children of primary school V. Nazor. Pupils nutrition techn. and agroturistic techn. with their teachers made and presented many food healthy choices. Bauerfeind d.o.o. presented their product for people with diabetes. We gave statement for the local media. At the and of this event all the participants excercise together to transfer message for the public about importance of physical activity.
