The IDF-Nigeria spokesperson for the World Diabetes Day press release/ DAN-GBAGADA Chairman/District404A3 Diabetes Committee Chairperson-Lion Osarenkhoe Ethel Chima-Nwogwugwu and the visiting Podiatrist Doctor from USA - Dr.
Babajide Ogunlana both graced the event .
Lion Osarenkhoe shared her motivating lived experience with diabetes for 23yrs.

The Endocrinologist - Dr. Ope-oluwa Fasamade gave her mesmerising speech to encourage participants to take their health serious to prevent complications.

It was an event that had medical screening for Diabetes complications, glucose /BP spikes , BMI checks.

* IDF- Nigeria spokesperson for WDD2023 educated the participants about the importance and need to join Diabetes support group . She Stressed the fact that ,it's not just enough to know your risk but most importantly know your response by getting educated and be deliberate about one's health.

* The dietitians spoke about the importance of healthy food portion size in prevention and management of diabetes/Hypertension.

* The Physiotherapists conducted exercise session for the participants stressing the importance of exercise in prevention and management of diabetes and her complications.

* The Pharmacists Spoke about the importance of proper insulin admistering and proper medication and she encouraged participants to feel free to give feedback on any drug reaction.

* stakeholders gave free Glucometers and strips to participants.

* Participants benefited from free drugs and snacks.
