Diabetes Telecare is committed to raising awareness about diabetes and preventing the disease in teenagers. By participating in the Diabetes Drive for Teenage Awareness, you can help us make a difference in the lives of young people. Teenagers are at a higher risk for developing diabetes than ever before. This is due in part to the rising rates of obesity among adolescents. Obesity is a major risk factor for type 2 diabetes, which is the most common form of the disease.
On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, Diabetes Telecare is hosting a Diabetes Drive for Teenage Awareness in schools. This program is designed to educate teenagers about the risk factors for diabetes, including obesity, and how to prevent it.

The program will feature a variety of activities, including:

Informative presentations: Teenagers will learn about the different types of diabetes, the symptoms, and the risk factors.
Interactive workshops: Teenagers will participate in hands-on activities to learn about healthy eating, exercise, and diabetes management.
Health screenings: Teenagers will have the opportunity to get their blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels checked.
Q&A sessions: Teenagers will have the chance to ask questions about diabetes to a team of experts.
The goal of the Diabetes Drive for Teenage Awareness is to empower teenagers with the knowledge and skills they need to stay healthy and prevent diabetes.
