Sri Lanka College of Endocrinologists(SLCE) and Sri Lanka Diabetes Federation(SLDF) annually organize the National Diabetes Walk under the "Access to Diabetes Care" theme, in Sri Lanka. This event will be held on 11th November 2023, at Colombo Municipal Council Ground, Colombo 07, Sri Lanka. We expect more than 2000 people and Type 1 Diabetes patients to join this walk. This event's main aim is public awareness of diabetes. We will plan to display the Placards with slogans of Diabetes Awareness in three different languages (English, Sinhala and Tamil), Diabetes Awareness Street Dramas, and participate nurses and medical officers under the banners named National Hospital of Sri Lanka; Sri Jayawardenapura General Hospital; Colombo South Teaching Hospital etc.
