We have multiple activities:
1. We are encouraging businesses/ organisations to sign the pledge to #EndDiabetesStigma to support the efforts of Midwest Diabetes Advocacy Group to improve services in the region
2. We are encouraging local businesses/ organisations to also show their support by going blue either with their building lights or clothing
3. We as individuals are having coffee mornings in our respective workplaces to raise awareness about diabetes
4. We are meeting outside the Strand Hotel in Limerick at 7pm, and it is going blue at 7:15pm to kick off our walk
Main Event:
1. We are giving a talk about what the Midwest Diabetes Group does and are doing a walk from a landmark in the city, the Strand Hotel, which will be lighting up blue at 7:15 to kickstart our walk.
2. We are ending the walk at one our team member's venues, Crew Brew, which is going blue also and signing the #EndDiabetesStigma pledge
- We are inviting people/ media/ politicians all around the Midwest to join for this walk
- We will taking photos outside with the blue lights and blue circle
