In support of the upcoming World Diabetes Day 2023 on 14th November (Tue), Hong Kong East Cluster (HKEC) Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Team, Patient Resource Centres (PRCs) and Community Partners are are collaborating to organize a series of activities. The aim is to raise awareness about diabetes prevention and care, as well as enhance the knowledge of HKEC Medical, Nursing, and Allied Health Staff in utilizing Continuous Glucose Monitoring Systems (CGMS).
The planned activities include:
1. "8,000 Steps a Day" campaign
2. Health educational talk for patients on the theme of "Choosing Smart Technology for DM Control"
3. Talk for professional staff on the use of CGMS
4. Talk and screening session for all HKEC Staff
