We are proud to announce that as a part of EU backed project "Digitalization and improvement of nutritional care for patients with chronic diseases" together with Medical Laboratory Diagnostic Division of University Hospital of Split and student organization CroMSIC, today we screened 80 diabetics for chronic kidney disease! This remarkable effort is the beginning of raising awareness of chronic kidney disease in diabetes. Further screening of diabetic patients will be done throughout November and the first week of December in which time we hope to screen about 400 diabetics for chronic kidney disease. We applaud these efforts and thank all volunteers!
