MANCOSA’s School of Healthcare has launched a campaign in honour of World Diabetes Day on the 14th of November 2023. This campaign titled Diabetic Delights: Recipe Challenge, serves as a noble cause of promoting diabetes awareness and healthy living through disease prevention and chronic disease management. This initiative invites individuals from all walks of life to submit a recipe during the campaign period (1-10 November) where 1 winning recipe will be chosen considering the affordability of preparing the meal, accessibility to ingredients, credibility as a diabetic-friendly recipe, South African inspiration and innovation. The winner will take home a prize.

This campaign aims to make a meaningful impact on diabetes education, knowledge sharing and awareness within communities by promoting healthy living.
