The Diabetes Philippines activity in celebration of World Diabetes Day. We invited persons with diabetes and those individuals who are at risk, a half day fun and interesting open forum on the risk for having diabetes, the importance of lifestyle change if you have diabetes, which we impart the importance of physical activity and healthy but affordable food choices and explained well the diabetes distress.During the activity we had a FREE screening for CKD risk, cholesterol, uric acid and blood sugar.
