Diabetes Awareness Walk and Screening : An initiative by Diabetes Research Welfare Association (DRWA) in association with Swapnobhor, Snehodiya and HIDCO will be organized on 19th November 7am onwards at Swapnobhor Seniors Park Newtown, Kolkata, India. The event will feature a symbolic walk with all participants followed by screening for diabetes and its related complications which includes diabetic foot screening and retinopathy screening. In sync with this year's WDD theme "Know your Risk, Know your Response", Diabetes Risk Scoring will be done using the Indian Diabetes Risk Score (IDRS) for all participants. Over a hundred participants have registered and will be joining to raise awareness towards Diabetes.
