Moppets Diabetes Foundation, in collaboration with the Women's Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN) Jigawa State Chapter and Child Evangelism Ministry (CEM), is celebrating World Diabetes Day. This year's event will commence at 8:30 am with free screening of all participants, followed by a general health talk on coping with type 2 diabetes to prevent complications. Topics to be discussed include healthy eating habits, regular monitoring of blood glucose, and the importance of exercise to reduce stress. Subsequently, there will be a question and answer section. Afterward, we will embark on a 5-kilometer walk to raise public awareness about the importance of World Diabetes Day celebration.
