Community outreach event to take place at Phuthadichaba Community Centre in Alexandra Township, Johannesburg, Gauteng Province. Aim is to educate about diabetes signs & symptoms, complications and management of diabetes under the campaign: Know your risk, Know your response. Over a hundred elderly people gather at the centre to be fed and taken care of on daily basis. The foundation will carry fruit packs to promote nutrition. Screening to prevent type 2 diabetes and promotion of the blue circle will form part of the day's activities.
