Childrens' Diabetes Study and Education Group, is an extension project of the Nursing Department at Federal University of Santa Catarina/UFSC. With the support of other groups, we will promote the “5km for Diabetes with GEEDI” run/walk at Florianopolis/SC, Brazil. The objective of this race/walk is to bring together healh professionals, patients and their caregivers and the general public for a greater awareness of diabetes and the importance of having access to diabetes education.
