ANNUAL CONFRENCE
The 52nd Annual Conference of RSSDI will commence on November 14th, aligning with World Diabetes Day, celebrated globally to raise awareness about diabetes. The day will begin with a special celebration, featuring the unveiling of a sand art piece by the renowned sand artist Shri Sudarshan Patnaik from puri, initially revealed on November 10th in the presence of DR. B. M. Makkar and DR. J. K. Sharma. The Union Minister DR. Jitendra Singh, will grace the celebrations.
The program will highlight nationwide activities led by doctors, including the A to Z Diabetes Awareness Activity campaign organised by RSSDI Delhi chapter and conference committee. This campaign mobilized thousands of doctors across India to share flyers about diabetes, emphasizing it risks and prevention methods. Additionally, a large-scale camp was held in Delhi's iconic Lodhi Garden, drawing nearly 1000 attendees. The camp offered free diabetes testing and included talks by DR. RAJESH KESARI and other eminent Delhi-based diabetologist, educating the public on diabetes management and prevention.
