400 type 2 diabetes patients with their families in out patient diabetes clinic
Families were screened for diabetes
Patient education regarding (diet ,complication ,usage of insulin ,glucose self monitoring)
Screening for complications (fundus examination ,ankle brachial index)
Lab investigations (A1C,lipid profile)
Meeting a diabetes consultant
All the activities were free of charge
