The World Diabetes Day 2024 seminar, organized by "blue circle FOUNDATION"(bcF Pakistan), held on November 14, 2024 was a resounding success, bringing people together from diverse organizations to tackle the global diabetes epidemic. This year's theme, "Breaking Barriers, Bridging Gaps," emphasized on reducing the risk of diabetes and ensuring that all people who are diagnosed with have access to equitable, comprehensive, affordable and quality treatment and care.
The seminar saw participation from esteemed organizations, including the Rotary Club Lahore South, Girls Guides Association, Muslim Hands, Phoenix Foundation for Research & Development, and Blue Circle Foundation focused on diabetes awareness and support. Distinguished speakers shared valuable insights on diabetes prevention, management, and care.
Alongside the event, Dr. Issa lab had stall for free screening of blood glucose level of the participants.
Key outcomes of the seminar included enhanced awareness about diabetes risks, prevention, and management.
