The event was graced by Patron-in-Chief Prof. Zohra Khanum, adding an inspiring note to the proceedings.

The workshop began with two insightful lectures. The first covered "Diabetes Distress and Its Presentation," delving into the emotional challenges faced by diabetic patients. This was followed by a discussion on "Management Steps," focusing on practical approaches to support patients. Participants engaged in a hands-on session with case studies and role-playing exercises, fostering interactive learning and practical application.

The workshop concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and a World Diabetes Day walk, symbolizing unity in the fight against diabetes. This event aligned with the IDF’s 2024-2026 theme of "Diabetes and Well-being," emphasizing the need for a holistic approach in diabetes care. Timely diagnosis, appropriate management, and multidisciplinary collaboration are essential for optimal patient outcomes.
