I am a physician (MD-PhD) with 19 years of experience in the field of diabetes. This year, I asked my 9-year-old son, Sadra, to collaborate with me on an activity for World Diabetes Day (WDD). He designed a brochure in Photoshop and printed copies for all the students at his school. During the morning ceremony, he gave a presentation about diabetes prevention. Afterward, he distributed the brochures to all the students, encouraging them to become diabetes ambassadors within their families.
