Shinyanga Regional Referral Hospital is planning to provide education and screening for NCD’s in Shinyanga Regional Referral Hospital staffs from 1st - 5th November, aiming to provide diabetes awareness education and its impact on the well being of people living with diabetes.

On 6th of November we plan to visit 1 school and on 7th of November we plan to visit 1 Institution, aiming to provide diabetes awareness education and its impact on the well being of people living with diabetes.

On 11th of November we will conduct a media session on diabetes education and other non-communicable diseases, aiming to provide diabetes education and its impact to the community.

Also, on 12th -16th of November we will screen for diabetes and other non -communicable diseases such as Hypertension and Obesity to the community and provide expert advice on preventing non-communicable diseases.

On the 14th of November we will conduct a media session on how the people living with diabetes are affected mentally and physically by the disease, and how can get a community to help in improving their well being.
