The De La Salle University Medical Center Section of Endocrinology and Diabetes proudly celebrated World Diabetes Day on November 14, 2024. In line with the theme "Diabetes and Well-Being", we invited our patients with diabetes to participate in an engaging lay fora led by doctors and nutritionists focusing on personal well-being as a patient, the role of family support, and the importance of proper nutrition. Additionally, we highlighted the significance of monitoring and screening for diabetes-related complications by offering booths for blood glucose testing, foot screening and counseling.
