Australian Lions Hearing Dogs are encouraging community groups and individuals to collectively ‘Lap the Map’ of Australia at least 10 times, covering a total 257,600kms of ground. The event aims to raise awareness for diabetes as well as some much needed funds for the Medical Alert Dog program that provides Diabetic Alert Dogs to Australians with type 1 diabetes, free of charge.
