Diabetes Screening Activity Organized by a Student Club at the Red Crescent Facility:diabetes screening activity was organized by a student lLions club INSAT at the Red Crescent facility to raise awareness among passengers and community members about diabetes risks and prevention. Below is an overview of the event's organization .
Objectives of the Activity:
1. Awareness: Inform the public about the symptoms, risk factors, and ways to prevent diabetes.
2. Early Screening: Provide free and quick screening to identify individuals at risk.
3. Health Education: Promote healthy lifestyle choices in terms of diet and physical activity.

Event Flow:
1. Setup:A booth was set up at the Red Crescent facility, equipped with medical tools (glucometers, test strips, disposable needles). Posters and educational brochures were displayed.
2.Welcoming the Participants: Interested passengers were invited to fill out a short form to collect basic information (age, medical history, lifestyle).A warm welcome by the students helped put participants at ease.

3.Measurements:
A quick blood sugar test and Blood Pressure Measurementwas conducted to measure participants' blood glucose level.

4.Interpretation of measurements and Nutritional Education:A nutritionist doctor supervised the event by interacting with participants and providing dietary advice for those at risk and individuals with established diabetes.

As part of the activity, free glucometers were distributed to over 50 people.
