We, the Diabetiker Thüringen e.V. (DTH), want to organize a day of action on November 14, 2024 to draw attention to the increasing spread of diabetes mellitus worldwide
In cooperation with the state capital Erfurt, the town hall will be illuminated with a blue circle, the logo of World Diabetes Day.
An information stand will be set up in front of the town hall at the fish market from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., where passers-by can obtain educational material. The contact persons are looking forward to talking to interested citizens, who can take a personal diabetes risk test (FINDRISK) directly on site if they wish and receive their test result immediately.
We continue to seek contact with the self-help organizations for these possible comorbidities in order to realize a joint appearance on World Diabetes Day.
