The campaign "Empowering the community to reduce the incidence of diabetes" was started on the occasion of World Diabetes Day by the Social Medicine Department of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences

In this event, an exhibition of posters with the content of self-care education, diabetes prevention, lifestyle, and prevention of disease complications has been designed and exposed to staff, professors, and students.
Expert advice on prevention and rehabilitation in diabetes was held.
Also, on the sidelines of this exhibition, two photography and writing contests were held under the title "For my health, I decide that...".
At the end of the ceremony, a public walk was held in the campus of the University of Medical Sciences, and a face-to-face competition was held for the participants.
