Objective:
Our mission is to support diabetes care that goes beyond managing blood sugar, addressing the mental and emotional well-being of those affected. This aligns with the goals of World Diabetes Day 2024, which advocates for a “better diabetes life.” By equipping endocrinologists with advanced knowledge and holistic approaches, we are building a foundation for patient-centred care in Kazakhstan.

Importance of Diabetes Awareness in Kazakhstan:
In Kazakhstan, diabetes has become a significant public health concern, with the number of patients increasing annually. As of recent reports, there are approximately 400,000 people registered with diabetes in Kazakhstan, with many more potentially undiagnosed (source: Ministry of Healthcare, Kazakhstan, 2023). Recognizing this rising trend, our educational initiative addresses the need for enhanced training and support among healthcare providers to manage diabetes comprehensively, fostering well-being for both patients and their communities.
