PLANNED ACTIVITIES DURING WORLD DIABETES MONTH (November 2024)
• To organize consultative and advocacy workshops with key concerned stakeholders including public policies makers, private sector,people living with Diabetes and civil society organizations to discuss challenges and strategies for access to diabetes care.
• Carry out a sensitization campaign in public spaces such as markets, car parks, schools….
• Conduct voluntary diabetes screening and other NCDs to ensure timely diagnosis and prevent diabetes-related complications.
• Organize radio talks and TVs shows for general public education and awareness on diabetes
• Organize Diabetes Global walk
• Youth and Family Engagement: Targeting younger populations through educational initiatives that raise awareness about the prevention of Type 2 diabetes, encouraging healthy habits from an early age
