On November 14, 2024, an awareness session on diabetes was held at Thal University in Bhakkar in observance of World Diabetes Day. The event, organized by Alkhidmat Foundation Bhakkar and the Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA), was led by Dr. Naeem Chap, a Consultant Physician and Diabetologist. Dr. Chap shared valuable insights on diabetes prevention, management, and the importance of early detection.

As part of the event, a diabetes screening camp was also conducted, where 57 individuals were screened for the condition. This initiative not only provided critical health information but also offered practical solutions for better diabetes management.

The active participation from students and the community highlighted the growing awareness and commitment to tackling diabetes on a local level.
