The Inpatient Diabetes Education team at our hospital have put together an awareness table in one of the busiest places in the hospital- the coffee shop. At this table, we offer educational handouts, answer questions, offer resources for assessing risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes. We also have a giveaway raffle for a chance to win a gift basket. This table is available to all staff members, patients, and the public. The table is up for 4 hours on November 14th and is our 3rd year hosting.
