Lecture on diabetes Type 1, in schools for children and teachers, healthy diet and education about DIABETES, basics.

We hereby inform you that at the invitation of our school, the Association of Diabetic Associations of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, in cooperation with the Institute for Health and Food Safety, i.e. its School Hygiene Service, and under the expert guidance of Dr. Nina Hasanic, will hold a lecture for school students and employees, and all in order to raise awareness about diabetes. The lecture is scheduled for Thursday, November 14, 2024. on World Diabetes Day from 9:40 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. 

This activity was initiated by the professional service of the school because this school year for the first time we encountered the need for everyone (both students and employees) to become much more familiar with diabetes and the proper protocol for dealing with this disease, because we have a first (I) grade student who he receives insulin therapy daily, three times a day. 

On this occasion, we inform the competent Ministry and the Pedagogical Institute about the planned activity, respecting the moment of importance of increasing awareness about the disease of diabetes and the daily need of the school to understand the needs of our students and to develop a proper attitude towards them.
