From October 1 to November 14, 2024, our college will host a series of comprehensive activities aimed at raising awareness and education about diabetes, culminating in a significant event on World Diabetes Day, November 14. This initiative will involve 200 active medical students and qualified doctors under the supervision of Dr. Summar, ensuring a well-organized and impactful series of events.
Objectives
The primary objectives of this event series are to:
Increase Awareness: Educate the community about diabetes, its risks, and management strategies.
Promote Healthy Lifestyles: Encourage preventive measures through workshops and interactive sessions.
Engage Stakeholders: Involve healthcare professionals, policymakers, and the public in meaningful discussions about diabetes care.

1. Activities for Healthcare Professionals
Workshops and Seminars: Conducted by experts in diabetes care, focusing on the latest research, treatment options, and patient management strategies.
Networking Events: Opportunities for healthcare professionals to connect with researchers and industry leaders in diabetes technology.
Screening Camps: Free diabetes screening for healthcare workers to promote early detection and management.
2. Activities for Policymakers
Policy Roundtables: Discussions on current diabetes policies and the need for improved healthcare access.
