The IDF screening tool for DM2 was applied to 103 people in several primary care units in the municipality. Subsequently, on December 10 and 18, 2024, activities are scheduled involving the training process of health professionals, including doctors, pharmacists and nurses by an endocrinologist. The academic environment will support the activities that will follow with the determination of individuals at moderate and severe risk located by the initial screening, following these appropriate serum tests for better evaluation.
