Students at St. Bernadette School will wear BLUE as a sign of support and solidarity with the students, teachers, and parents of our community who are diabetic on November 14. Links to important information about diabetes will be included in our newsletter for our parents that day; a video of our Type 1 diabetic students and teacher, filmed ahead of time, will be played in homerooms to raise awareness, and answer questions young children often have about diabetes, or about the needs of friends or family who are diabetic. The video will be available to teachers between 11/14 and 11/16.
