**Public Walk for Diabetes Awareness**
On Friday, November 9th, the Gabric Diabetes Association, supported by Actover Co. and in collaboration with the Iran Diabetes Association, organized a public walk aimed at raising awareness, promoting physical activity, and encouraging a healthy lifestyle. This event provided an opportunity for the public to learn about diabetes and gain information on prevention methods.
The walk started at the Mashahir Square in Abbasabad area. From the beginning, the event saw strong participation from people with diabetes, their families, and supporters of the diabetic community. Participants, wearing blue circle badges (the symbol of diabetes awareness) and holding blue balloons, walked towards the Mina Dome, where Gabric's informational booths were set up. After assessing their risk of diabetes and learning about type 2 diabetes prevention, they continued to Park Ab o Atash. Many supporters, including Actover Pharmaceuticals, FarirTeb, Kamvar, and Kalleh, helped make this event possible.
Participants showcased their solidarity with the diabetes community by wearing blue circle badges and carrying blue balloons. The walk became more than just a physical activity; it was a gathering to express empathy, enhance motivation, and foster emotional and social connections among participants. At the end of the walk, the blue circle symbolizing unity and awareness for diabetes prevention was formed.
