**Medical Community Education and Emphasis on Patient-Centered Diabetes Management**

On Friday, November 15th, in line with its mission to educate the medical community and enhance their capabilities in patient-centered diabetes management, as well as to introduce new technologies in blood glucose monitoring, the Gabric Diabetes Association, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Tehran University of Medical Sciences, organized the 12th scientific seminar titled "Diabetes in practice," focusing on the latest advancements in patient-centered diabetes management.

The event, held at the Talash Cultural and Sports Complex in "Park Vey", was attended by nearly 200 specialists in the field of diabetes. The speakers at this seminar included Dr. Esteghamati, Dr. Jahed, Dr. Hadaegh, Dr. Hossein Panah, Dr. Sharif Kashani, and Dr. Nikousokhan.

The key topics discussed during the seminar included an overview of the importance and role of diabetes self-management education, the role of diabetes consultants alongside physicians for better diabetes management, communication skills and principles for interacting with people living with diabetes, the latest advancements in managing cardiovascular disease risk in diabetes, and an exploration of the newest blood glucose monitoring technologies.
