On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, Thursday, November 14, 2024, the Romanian Society of Diabetes, Nutrition, and Metabolic Diseases (RSDNBM) launched a "marathon" of awareness, information, and medical education aimed at bringing the complex issue of diabetes into focus for both the general public and healthcare professionals.

Over the course of 24 hours, from 00:00 to 23:59, RSDNMD had conducted various activities as part of the "DIABETES MARATHON":

>>> Live video broadcasts across multiple channels, aimed at informing and raising awareness about the prevention, diagnosis, and diabetes management, for the general public;

>>> Press conference;

>>> Scientific sessions dedicated exclusively to healthcare professionals, diabetologists and specialists from related fields, focusing on current multidisciplinary approaches to diabetes management;

An event for everyone

Through this initiative, RSDNBM aimed to make a significant impact both among the general public and the medical community, promoting the importance of an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to diabetes management.
