The event featured lectures on the following:
1. Diabetes, Risks and prevention
2. Diabetes and the eyes
3. Diabetes and exercise
A room was created for Questions and Answer at the end of the lectures.
Screening for diabetes, assessment of anthropometric parameters, blood pressure and oral health were done on willing participants.
Counselling sessions were offered.
There was a quiz session organized at the end of the lectures for secondary school students to test their basic knowledge on diabetes, its risk factors and preventive measures. Gifts were given to outstanding pupils
