SS Care Trust and the SSCT Student Wing, in partnership with institutions under Bapuji Educational Association, will host a 3-km Diabetes Walkathon on November 14, 2024, in observance of World Diabetes Day. This initiative aims to raise awareness about diabetes and promote preventive health practices within the community. We anticipate the participation of around 1,000 students and faculty from JJM Medical College, SSIMSRC, BDCH, CODS, Bapuji B Schools, BIET, RL Law College, Bapuji Nursing School & College, and SS Institute of Nursing.
The walkathon will serve as an educational event, with students displaying information placards and slogans in Kannada, sharing key insights on diabetes prevention and management. This walkathon reflects our shared commitment to combatting diabetes and empowering individuals with the knowledge to make healthier lifestyle choices.
