About the Program:
This screening initiative aims to detect complications associated with diabetes at an early stage, providing patients with timely intervention and support. All diabetic patients will undergo comprehensive screenings for nephropathy, neuropathy, retinopathy, and cardiac complications at a subsidized rate. Expert opinions will be offered, helping patients understand and manage their conditions more effectively.
Patient Education:
Each patient will receive personalized guidance on healthy dietary choices, suitable exercise routines, and essential lifestyle modifications to manage diabetes. Additionally, nursing and allied health sciences students will conduct awareness sessions on proper foot care, a critical aspect of diabetes management.
Impact:
This activity is designed to enhance patient awareness about preventive measures and empower them to make informed lifestyle choices, reducing the risk of diabetes-related complications.
