### Screening for Diabetes in AAM SC Waterkhani Block, Kupwara District

**Background**
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve community health, a screening initiative was conducted for diabetes among individuals aged 30 and above in AAM SC Waterkhani Block, Kupwara District.

**Objective**
To identify and raise awareness about the prevalence of diabetes in the local population.

**Methodology**
A total of **858 individuals** (both male and female) were screened using standard testing procedures.

**Results**
- **Total Screened**: 858
- **Total Detected with Diabetes**: 38
- **Prevalence Rate**: Approximately **4.4%**

**Conclusion**
The screening revealed a concerning prevalence of diabetes in the community, highlighting the need for ongoing education and intervention strategies.
